Hadassah Hospital and Chagall Windows

The yellow window in the center of this photo is one of twelve windows designed by Chagall and installed in the synagogue at Hadassah hospital. Each window represents one of the twelve tribes, this one depicts the Levi tribe, part of Stu's heritage--and also our favorite window.

It is not well known in the US that Hadassah built a second hospital when Jerusalem was under Jordanian occupation as it was until the six day war in 1967. There are also two campuses for Hebrew University for the same reason.
