These are the old, not ancient, grinding stones used at the olive oil factory. All the production takes place in this large room that used to be a checken coop. This is a family operated business. The Israelis are quite enterprising and have many of these small enterprises. This factory distributes throughout the country. This morning, Shabbat, for breakfast, we ate some of the homemade jam produced here by the mother.
